What Gmail permissions does Synced need?
Read access to the labels or threads you choose, nothing else. Send access only if you enable drafted replies, such as asking a supplier for a missing invoice number. Revoke it any time from your Google account settings.
Does Synced read personal emails in my connected inbox?
No. Synced processes only the labels you tell it to watch. Everything else in the mailbox is never accessed.
How do I pause scanning?
Toggle the Gmail connection off in the Synced dashboard. Scanning stops at once, and nothing is processed until you turn it back on.
How do I disconnect entirely?
One click in Synced, or revoke access in Google's security settings. Captured documents stay in Synced for your audit log; future emails are never touched.
Does this work with Google Workspace shared mailboxes?
Yes. Domain-wide delegation is supported for shared inboxes, common in accounts payable and expense workflows.
